This sidewalk had been repaired once before.  Someone just slapped concrete over the uneven joint, and called it good.  We had to chip off the old concrete ramp, then mud jack the sunken slab back to grade.  After the mud jacking was complete, and the holes dried, it was back open to foot traffic.
