Mudjacking Back Pathway

<< First < Prev Next > Last >>

At this job in Madison WI. Mud Tech had to work quick to get this property ready for the students coming back to UWM for the fall semester.  As the picture shows, this entrance had a really sunk slab of concrete. The slab sunk down, and left. The soil on the left side had eroded over time, letting this heavy piece fall down further and further. Mud Tech approaches all jobs with a creative, and positive attitude. We had to do this job in 2 parts. First we dug out the sides and prepared them for stabilizing. After that concrete had dried we returned to raise the steps and sidewalk back up.

Below shows how we had to dig out the sides of this slab. On most mudjacking jobs we do not have to dig out anything, but because this slab was so heavy we needed to add additional support on the left side. Also this customer had used Mud Tech before for some asphalt repair, so he knew we could fix his concrete problem the first time.
